Obama Down-sized

The US has been receiving growing international condemnation for all the US Occupations, there illegal wars and excessive crimes against humanity.

While the US falsely claims that have any allies in the global arena, the US has none that will put a hand in there direction; even Allah (Hashem) has turned His back on them nor hears there voice. The US stands against a wall all alone and no amount of wiggling in arrogance will change this fact, until the US changes the abominations they have accumulated upon themselves; before there is nothing left for them to see.

Furthermore, the US in committing the highest form of blasphemy with the false belief that they are "god" and that no one should rebel against them; which this is going across the US airways even as I write this. The last civilization to follow this form of blasphemy was ancient Rome.

Climbing to a Higher Plane

The enlightenment of mankind towards the ultimate beauty of Allah (Hashem), with His relationship towards mankind.

Ancient Romanticism dates over a thousand years and over time filtered down into pale or distorted reflections of the trueness of the Philosophical intention.

Share a Smile, if you see someone that forgot there's!

Originally, mankind within Romanticism could see a beauty far greater than mankind ever thought was imaginable; for it dimmed the ugliness that people sometimes feels they see in there daily lives and with it the burdens for they are lifted out sight. 



Three things about positive emotions such as happiness, it is not only healthy; but less troubles comes you're way and the more people have positive emotions it will illuminate outward; the world will actually get brighter as though a lush garden is around you.

 

What people may not realize, is there is so much more to a person than just walking about and breathing air; as it is in everything around them, sometimes just take a look beyond the obvious. As in the photograph above, while one may focus on the snow capped mountains, the three dark colored birds swimming, the white fluffy clouds in the cold light blue sky or the lake; but did one take the time to notice the beautiful white swan asleep to keep warm in the foreground and no "Where is Waldo," in this photograph.  But what was even more important of all the elements in the photograph, Allah (Hashem) made every one; which your eyes hopefully enjoyed.

Simplicity at its most rewarding!

Romanticism, did develop some of the greatest intellectuals, architecture, everything within the arts including literature and music, the breath taking beauty of nature and all the world was intended to be; but the intention was also the purity of mankind to actually climb the higher plane of existence on into Paradise (Heaven).

When was the last time one greeted the majesty of a sunrise,  a beautiful moon surrounded by innumerable amount of stars as the whole universe appears open for viewing; simply sing a song even if one is not sure of the words or just happy to be alive?

Since its first inception, the greatest explosion towards this philosophy began in the later part of the 1950's to explode well into the 1970's with the Peace movement. For one of the core issues of Romanticism is love, peace, freedom and the equality for all mankind living upon the earth.

Purity of Life is Amazingly Beautiful!

In the US especially with the subculture of free love including Homosexuality, nudity, personal uncleanliness, tattoo's, illicit drugs with alcoholism for this murder's the mind and the body, checking out of society or joining a cult especially the Satanic murder cults and Christian Apocalyptic (Suicide) cults [for Suicides do not ever see Paradise (Heaven), but are tormented in hell in the "place of  lost souls"] of the 1960's and 1970's for example; was not the intention or not any part of true Romanticism, but contrary too its true intention in every aspect which was the purification of the human soul from any form of sin.

So humanity could be on firm, stable footing with the breathtaking illumination of the original intention by Allah (Hashem); instead of Satan's aphotic, chaotic quicksand.

Everyone living happily ever after, in the garden!

But actual Romanticism is something that is much more profoundly exhilarating beautiful and not in the slightest dull. It is where people have real fun, exciting happiness and dreams do come true. It is were the best things in life are free, such as love and life to its fullest; where the cup is not half empty, but overflowing.

Honesty is still the best policy and Individuality in Society always has a check-in time!

This particular philosophy was considered the doorway to Utopia, with the ultimate belief in Allah (Hashem) in what He actually is about and wishes for mankind. Where the world becomes as a lush magnificent garden such as the beauty that is within Paradise (Heaven); with feeling of being lighter than air, such as the lack of needless burdens brings such as too often occurs when there is sin or unhappiness.

During the period that ancient Romanticism first occurred there was no crime, discrimination, wars and poverty. A traveler, could come to a house and be given the finest hospitality. Some technology, intellectual and architecture pursuits are still seen to some degree in parts of the globe or attempting to be analysed due to there remarkable intellectual quality such as in medicine for example. 

Something else that came down more readily from this period, was dancing, singing and the evolution into modern poetry.



 Equitable prosperity abounded and the world lived in a calm that has never been seen since; but mankind was still responsible for the care of there family for the sure love and joy of doing so. The glow in the husbands eyes, looking into there wife's face and the happiness of watching there children grow and just being happy to see everyone, no matter who they be.




When there is peace among Allah's (Hashem's) legions in this world, there is peace among the legions in Paradise (Heaven). And no one should cause discord among the faithful, that creates disharmony.

Wherever peace is found, fear of Paradise (Heaven) is found; wherever peace is lacking, fear of Paradise (Heaven) is lacking. For they that create war, no not Allah (Hashem) nor fear Paradise (Heaven); too there demise by Him, for the good of mankind. For the many wars, overtime has caused mankind to loose certain abilities as locked doors within the brain that came from Paradise (Heaven) and shall only return when mankind lives in peace and love one with another; under Allah (Hashem), with the full potential that mankind was originally intended in all aspects from the moment of there first creation.

It is also unheard of to have locks on any doors, do to the lack of any need; for the inventions of such things are as dust that blew away one day in a shallow wind; never to be seen again. For there is no crime and peace is as a soft warm embrace.

 It was considered to be similar to walking in a splendid garden with the most vibrant of colors, that lifted the heart on a gentle breeze of magnificence; of a world that was simply golden.

Love everyone and seek to make there lives better; for one should not create sorrow or hardships towards another. For it is better to think of what will benefit another for a better life, then think of oneself.

30 May 2011-About 1938, a portion of ancient writings concerning the only female Prophet became the evolution in what became known as the Superman comic strip. Which later evolved into comic books, a radio program, television series and movies. The original reason that the person betrayed became a man instead of the original being an Archangel appearing in the human form of a woman having grown from the normal cycle of childhood to adulthood with the divine perseverance of saving a world surrounded with the darkest forces of evil bent on global destruction by blood with humility of peace, love, truth and the sword of justice; was in the 1930's discrimination towards women in the US which was extremely rampant and so the person became a man, to cease the US discriminatory censorship friction of a woman being portrayed. While the original intention was more in line to the writings, overtime distortions became more apparent, especially in the later movies and a television program. The emblem and surrounding blue background, that became so well-known has to do with "Unity among all humanity under one God (Hebrew: Hashem; Arabic: Allah) in Peace ("S" Hebrew: Shalom; Arabic: Salaam) forever," the essence of what the above article is all about. How Allah (Hashem) Views Sin

May Allah (Hashem) open thy eyes to see, thy ears to hear and thy heart to understand the difference.

 During a storm on 14 June 2010, a giant Jesus Styrofoam and fiberglass statue was struck by lightning and burst into flames. The statue was reported to have been completely destroyed in Monroe, Ohio.

Just as a world without sin would be a Paradise, indeed!

Unless, people have forgotten, sin was never to be among mankind in the first place nor does Allah (Hashem) ever approve; unless people enjoy the many forms of punishment laid upon them who do such, by Him.

Such as the US continuously receiving tornadoes, fire, torrential rains, heavy snow, extremely high winds, volcanic activity, Hurricanes and floods among other signs for there deeds; which that is just what one can see with there eyes. It is so bad at times, the US is having major problems with flying airplanes within there country; especially towards the North and Mid-western states or across the middle of the country.

Very recently with the storm that damaged Chicago, air flight passengers that it would normally take a few hours to get where they were going; took almost a day and half to just get out of Chicago and then many had to take the old "milk-run" flight system to get away from Chicago and around other storms.

Also, let's not forget Allah (Hashem) in the past has laid whole places into waste or caused whole places to vanish for their sinful abominations and while many may think this is just something from the past, look around you; it is now, for Allah (Hashem) never changes.

For mankind is to live a virtuous life and equate no others with Him.

For if mankind doesn't clean themselves up, Allah (Hashem) will do it; the hard way!

The Lotus-Eaters

I have heard it said that a little of this or a little of that; what harm can it do or that a person committing a sinful act is just doing it to themselves. What they tend to forget or ignore, is Allah (Hashem) see’s absolutely everything, down to the smallest eliminate and takes it into account nor in any aspect can a person hide, even with the cover of the darkness of night.

As for harming oneself, He has never approved of this; as for the example the overwhelming drug problem, especially in the US which has been occurring for well over a hundred years with the days of the China/US Opium trade war (1856), for one is in actuality is not just committing a form of self-imposed suicide; but the seller, distributor, grower, harvester of production and manufacture is committing a form of murder for sale.

The same goes for those that follow excursiveness in the consumption of alcohol and most importantly, Allah (Hashem) never forgets anything which goes as far as His memory; it stems from the very beginning of creation.

And a little something people may have forgotten, fermentation that creates alcohol did not come about until after the great flood.

Nevertheless, the US does have a history of allocating alcohol and drugs to people they are attempting to conquer with the attempt of weaking the opposing force; this was just one method used by the US government during the Native-American wars. Especially to cultures that such habits are foreign or considered unacceptable; such as with the Native-Americans, where "fire-water (alcohol)" was unheard of prior to the introduction by the US government.




One can also look at the aspect, of not just the US finding another way of murdering Jews and Muslims, but has a financial cash flow to fuel there military budget to further advance the US global Holocaust with the US globally producing and distribution of illegal drugs-the US will use any means to advance and finance there war of genocidal terror!

This form of US discriminatory tactic is not new, it was first used on Native Americans during there war with the "white’s" land theft expansion, which alcohol was used and later, infiltrated into the black community mainly with illegal drugs; which among both ethnic groups there is still considered a significant problem.

As it goes along, anyone that distributes drugs is a murderer or takes drugs is committing self-induced murder by slow suicide.

Which it should go without saying, that any drug addiction leads to other forms of criminal activities, such as theft or prostitution; in the most severe cases to feed the addiction.

Also, the US government is the only government that the majority of there employees; dictates there policies in a drug induced haze and has a severe problem with diseases especially contagious diseases from this problem. Let's not forget, the (US former first lady, who had a severe drug problem) Betty Ford Clinic!

There is some elements in American society that while it is detrimental to there well-being they still do it. The first is that it is better to tell a lie then stand-up for the truth, for it seems they never have learned that honesty goes much further and they will not end up in a deep well.

The second, which is a further significant problem, instead facing a problem with a clear head to resolve it in the right manner; will instead resort to negativity especially in alcohol. Which not only doesn't solve the problem, but increases it further to uncontrollably.



In a Mire

"Nearly one in three American children is living with a parent who is divorced, separated or never-married." One of the most honorable insitutions is marriage and while divorce still in many societies carries an excessive stigma; to forgo marriage as what is occuring in American society, is immoral decandance and is condemned by Allah (Hashem). For men and women are intented to live jointly together in the bonds of marriage, in a harmonious home with the blessing of children.  Which the responsiblity of proper upbringing of the children is by the parents.  It is written, that marriage is fifty-percent of people reaching Paradise (Heaven).


It was recently brought further to my attention of epidemic proportions of alcoholism, drug abuse, every form of existent promiscuity; that is so rampant in the US. Furthermore, US illegitimate birth rates are at an all time high and the US attempting to come up with alternative birth prevention measures that allows promiscuity to continue; the best prevention has always been, abstention or within marriage only. Which with the added problem of this causing a dysfunctional family environment has filtered down to the children that are having to growing basically by themselves or with peers within the same type of environment. It has became the old scenario of children growing-up in spite of themselves, creating a bleak future for US society.

The Me Generation

 

The US has an epidemic of children and teenage runaways, that end up on the streets in major cities; too become gang members, in the drug trade or users, to the many types of prostitution for both male and female. These runaways, have a very short life expectancy and upon death are usually not claimed by any family or friends for burial.


The US educational system with dysfunctional environment children are having an excessive discipline problem towards these type of children not having being taught what is acceptable in a society, with not just an excessive educational drop-out rate, but extreme learning difficulties and that the excessive immoral behavior the have been subjected is also creating such things as violent behavior, criminal activities, youth suicide; to other many form of dysfunctional mental behavior, youth mental illness and other contagious health issues.

US federal agents arrested more than 880 adults in a three-day sting that focused on breaking up child prostitution rings across the US on 9 November 2010. US child prostitution has been in epidemic proportions for several years, with many children sold into prostitution by parents, guardians,human trafficking kidnappings and many as runaways. But in actuality what has the US government done to curb this immoral behavior, they promoted the behavior in every avenue possible causing the devaluation of children on into adulthood; especially young girls and women.

Furthermore, the US do to excessive poverty, criminal activities, drugs, alcoholism, violence; promiscuity, as the US has the largest rate of illegitimate children born to teenagers and some under 12 years-old in the world,which has created an extremely high mortality rate among children.

Women's Suffrage movement of the 19th century most women were forbidden by husbands to attend the rallies; during a rally or parade a woman could be subjected the abuse by police accused of illegal assembly, jailed, murdered, ordered to go home and be disciplined by husband or father. Since the 20th century, domestic abuse has continued, but severely increased with violence among unmarried women, rape, female exportation and murder. As for babies, children and young teens, there is pedophile exportation, kidnapping, rape, murder and children being sold by parents into the prostitution. US women have been fighting for equal rights, from the exploration that began towards the end of the 19th century and still continues to do to no avail, the only real accomplishment of women's early suffrage was women was finally give the right to vote on 26 August 1920; but not equal wages during employment, the right to not be treated as a second class in US society, freedom from domestic abuse and as for children there has been no change, especially with serial pedophiles. HRM Dora of Israel, was a loud voice when it came to the maltreatment of US women; she would express in public of how scandalous these women were being treated, with such ill regard and never had heard of such, in Israel; but quite to the contrary. When I was younger, the family when one speaks of US women being maltreated; this event is usually told. An elderly Israeli Widow living at the time in the US, was one day put out of her house by the US local police with all her belongs and put on the curbside; where she was to reside according to the police. An Israeli Jewish neighbor woman made a call, were my grandfather  (HRM Dora's husband) and all my great Uncles who were Israeli Muslim showed up, they collected her and all her belongings and by nightfall was not only in a new house; but never worried again as long as she lived. This was considered a case of her not just being a woman, but Anti-Semitism; for such as this was occurring in the US, when the European portion of the Holocaust was also happening.

The US in its present spiritual condition, most Americans wouldn't know Allah (Hashem) if He was standing front of them; anymore then they would know those that came from Paradise (Heaven), but to strive if thought of there existence is to kill them with no avail and He has stopped listening to there voices, for there sin's are to many as the stand in the quickest of sand.




Stay Away from Drugs, Get High on Life instead!

Cannot Love Both

Something I have been reminded of several times recently, that a person either loves money or Allah (Hashem); that one cannot love both.

For they that love money the most, Allah (Hashem) falls in them towards they wayside and they are lost; which the final stop is usually hell, itself.

Also how many people have suffered or died due to war, theft, occupations, to the domination of others including slavery; in the name of money?

I originally came more to this understanding, when I was less in size then a ordinary pencil, ragged and hungry; but was a live.

The greatest things in this life doesn't cost one cent; but carries the biggest impact and when you're time does come, you can face Allah (Hashem) without any worries!



Those that has brought it foreword once again are those who are in want of more, learned men such as Rabbi‘s and Sheikhs; but also those who can see the tremendous suffering it has caused.



As the harlot who's unseen rags are full of maggoted filth, contagious disease, deluding themselves that Allah (Hashem) will be generous and forgiving with vast mercy unto them; with hopes for forgiveness while persisting in wrongdoing. Without ever taking into account His terrible retribution that befalls them to abide in the realm of darkness forever, even though their unbelief does not hurt Allah (Hashem) in the slightest.

Walks in Apostasy

Less one also forgets, there is one that walks upon the earth that does not care what happens to everyone and knows not Allah (Hashem); but comes from the far reaches of outer darkness and of fire, that sin and massive devastation is but play toys too them. For they carry a sword from the bottomless pit, fired and formed in hell itself; which the inflicted wounds run deep, with slowness of healing. The Angels battle them constantly.

Save a Life, it May Be yours!

As for myself, I do not believe in drinking for any reason.

For years ago when I was a young girl, something came about on a discussion with my mother about alcohol drinking that I have never forgot. At the bottom of each bottle or glass lives a Demon and the more one drinks the more they take control and this can be seen by the many things that people do when they indulge, especially immoral endeavors.

For me on some special occasions or certain holidays, I usually drink kosher grape juice instead and it is healthier.-HRM Deborah

Earth Day: The Unicorn Killer Founder

Earth day's real founder was Samuel "Ira Einhorn" in 1970, but he is better known for being “The Unicorn Killer;” for the brutal murder in 1977 of one Holly Maddux.

Einhorn's Character

As to Einhorn himself, he was known to have a form of spin-golly when it came to women and he had a previous history of several cases of brutalizing women or people he wanted something from concerning one of his projects, too when he got into legal difficulties concerning Holly's murder; which they were usually people of a prestigious background.

As for the creation of earth day and several other Einhorn projects, they were not initially for the betterment of others or the planet; but more to creating a name for Einhorn’s ever starved ego. This came more apparent, after Einhorn fled the US and the police investigating the murder case found Einhorn’s journals. It came more foreword from the journal’s, that Einhorn was not just considered criminally, mentally ill; but detested women, as well as the belittlement of people in general.

Finding Holly

Eighteen months later, Maddux's decomposing corpse was found by police in a trunk stored in a closet in Einhorn's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania apartment; due to complaints from some other apartment tenants of a horrible odor that seemed to permeate from Einhorns apartment.

Their was evidence that Holly had been bludgeoned with what some evidence claimed was a glass unicorn figurine and put into a large truck while still alive, where she actually died due to her injures an possible suffocation inside the truck.

Einhorn later would flee to Europe were he would spend about 24 years on the run and fighting extradition back to the US. The two main people in the US, that aided-and-abetted Einhorn while he was on the run internationally were former US President Bill Clinton and current US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

 

The song below by Joni Mitchell (1969) called, "Chelsea Morning;" is where the Clinton's daughter got her name and the Clinton's were accessories in the Maddux murder. The Clinton's were in Einhorn's apartment, when Holly Maddox was bludgeoned and assisted Einhorn in putting Holly's body in the trunk; where she would later die.

The Aftermath

One thing even after the death of Holly’s parent’s in Tyler, Texas; the Maddux siblings never gave up trying to bring Einhorn to justice.

Einhorn was finally extradited to the United States on 20 July 2001; where he is currently serving his sentence of life without the possibility of parole in the state prison at Houtzdale in central Pennsylvania.


To this day, I have always refused to have anything to do with Earth Day, in memory of Holly Maddux; a young woman who’s life was cut so short, who was not just artistic; but had dreams of being an innovative fashion designer.

Mankind was suppose to take responsibility for the environment sometime ago and not just a single day, but all 365 days-a-year; for this was one of the laws laid down by Allah (Hashem) and not in the manner one sees today; also very important, the preservation and preciousness of ever single life on the planet and why Allah (Hashem) laid down such strict laws concerning the the taking of a life or any type of harm to another.

"The lord of the flies"

Charles Manson in 1969 and at age 74 (March 2009), Murder Cult leader of the "Manson family." Manson is classified criminally insane.

In the 1960's well into the 1970's there were several  US "murder cults," which they did tend to murder there own; but many innocent people also died because of such cults. One of the more famous of such cults was Charles Manson and his "family" who were finally charged in the Tate/Labianca grisly murders in 1969; but there has been so many people that the death toll is still being investigated to this day.

As to other deviations such as sexual, being abusive, drug use and mental breakdowns or a form of brainwashing was extremely common in being a cult member; such as this came out most pronouncedly in the California media, during the "Manson family" trial in 1970.

Charles Manson's Criminal Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi, speaks about the Tate-LaBianca murders nearly 30 years after the homocide trial took place.



Which such members are classified to be a danger to society, from  influential families or considered suffering from severe self-esteem prior to joining and the cults themselves as Satanic.

"Manson" is a 1973 documentary directed by Robert Hendrickson and Laurence Merrick. It deals with the "Manson family" and has many interviews with the members of the group, including Charles Manson, "Squeaky" Fromme, and Sandra Good. This film contains original footage of the Charles Manson Family at their Spahn Ranch compound, Devil's Canyon, their Barker Ranch hideout in Death Valley, the Hall of Justice in Los Angeles and various other locations. When "Squeaky" Fromme attempted to assassinate US President Gerald Ford, the "Manson" film was "banned" by US District Court Judge Thomas McBride in order to preserve Ms Fromme's constitutional right to a fair and speedy trial. The Clinton/Lewinsky Scandal

The navy blue cocktail dress rumoured to have been worn by Ms Lewinsky during an encounter with then US President Bill Clinton, during which it was said to have been stained with semen.


The Lewinsky scandal was a political sex scandal emerging from a sexual relationship between US President Bill Clinton and a then 22-year-old White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. The news of this extra-marital affair and the resulting investigation eventually led to the impeachment of President Clinton in 1998 by the US House of Representatives and his subsequent acquittal on all impeachment charges of perjury and obstruction of justice in a 21-day Senate trial.


In 1995, Monica Lewinsky, a graduate of Lewis & Clark College, was hired to work as an intern at the White House during Clinton's first term, and began a personal relationship with him, the details of which she later confided to her friend and Defense department co-worker Linda Tripp, who secretly recorded their telephone conversations. When Tripp discovered in January 1998 that Lewinsky had signed an affidavit in the Paula Jones case denying a relationship with Clinton, she delivered the tapes to Kenneth Starr, the Independent Counsel who was investigating Clinton on other matters, including the Whitewater scandal, the White House FBI files controversy, and the White House travel office controversy. During the grand jury testimony Clinton's responses were guarded, and he argued, "It depends on what the meaning of the word is is."


The wide reporting of the scandal led to criticism of the press for over-coverage especially condemnation by Clinton on the overexposing of other allegations of numerous encounters of sexual conduct stemming to as far back as when he was Governor of Arkansas. The scandal is sometimes referred to as "Monicagate", "Lewinskygate", "Tailgate", "Sexgate", and "Zippergate", following the "gate" nickname construction that has been popular since the Watergate scandal.


Lewinsky alleged nine sexual encounters with Bill Clinton:
November 15, 1995, in the private study of the Oval Office
November 17, 1995, while Bill Clinton was on the phone with a member of Congress
December 31, 1995, in a White House study
January 7, 1996, in the Oval Office
January 21, 1996, in the hallway by the private study next to the Oval Office
February 4, 1996, while Clinton was meeting in the Oval Office
March 31, 1996, in the hallway near the study of the Oval Office
February 28, 1997, near the Oval Office, when the blue dress stains were created
March 29, 1997 (Clinton, however, denied that this day's encounter actually happened.)

It was also brought forward that Clinton not only had a history of such encounters, but the abusing of women and illicit drug abuse with alcoholism .-HRM Deborah

Just Two-minute's of Silence

A Muslim man (L) and an Orthodox Jewish man observe a two-minute silence in Jerusalem as sirens sounded across Israel in memory of the Holocaust victims, on 12 April 2010. Israel fell silent as a two-minute-long sirens wailed across the country to mark Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes Day. On 13 April 2010, Israeli's across the country have an anti-US protest; showing photographs of slain family members, many mere children; murdered by the US. With other commemorations throughout the day; but by night, one could see the sky turn bright with a torch vigil in Gaza city of remembrance of the much too many martyrs because of the US and those that have survived the US atrocities thus far.


We could talk about the two-minutes of silence where the freeways and byways came to a halt, as people came out of their vehicles and stood in silence or the pedestrians on sidewalks standing as statues in time.

We could further talk about the many commemorations rather outdoors or at Yad Vashem with the many visitors, too even an anti-US protest in Gaza for this Holocaust Remembrance Day that began on the eve last night.

But for many, we remember not just what happened those many years ago and those innocent loved ones that died long before there time and those that gratefully survived; yet, what is still looked upon happening to us today.

When someone relentlessly harms another, especially the innocent or in our case a particular group of people through a discriminatory, greed entrenched ideology, many people on the outside of this situation through the lack of experience would find it hard to perceive the heaviness and internal anguish that a maltreated people has to carry not just one generation, but several; simply due to the fact this horrendous suffering that has not came to an end so far, for the Jewish and Muslim people.

We still have to think of those even now in concentration/death camps, the many political hostages, the pogroms and the massive destruction in the several countries not because they did anything, but be born Jewish or Muslim and even now these very same people have found it acceptable to also put there eyes on many Christian communities, as though they feel religion is a poison; when religion has been the very foundation for not just humanity, but for the benefit of the common good.

What makes it the hardest is we are a peace loving people, but that we actually do live for honesty and justice for all; they are not mere words to be spoken in jest or to cover over a crime, but something that is real, without fences, pogroms, Nakba’s, slavery or death; for such as this we never wished to have gone through, let alone learn.-HRM Deborah

The Boy with Little Arms

I am thinking I was maybe ten years old at the time, when I use to go to my grandfather’s home and in those days children sometimes played American baseball in the street; on the fringe of what was called, the old neighborhood. All the children that wished too in the whole neighborhood would come and we would split into teams to play this game.

One day a boy that was living with his grandparents just a little down the street from my grandfather, came and asked to join in on the game.

What was different about this boy is he had no hands and maybe three quarter’s of his arms. He happened to been born this way and what was rather sad, his parents who where American Christian did not want him because the way he was born; so he lived with his grandparents who loved him dearly. Which in an experience that was to come later, I learned his grandparents where very nice people.

The rest of the children were mostly Jewish and Muslim, which in those days one either did not think about ones religion or it was just more important that the one standing in front of you was just a person and not like it seems to be some places these days.

Nevertheless, all of us children got together and decided if this meant so much to him, we would let him join into our fun. A couple of the children were wondering how he could play without hands and I mentioned that we would find out.

To our surprise he actually could play amazingly good, he was even a remarkable batter and to this day, I still am not sure how he was able to do this with such skill.

Because I was the one that had asked the other children if it was a good idea for him to play, this boy with little arms came upon himself to be my friend. We actually became very good friends, especially when he found that playing with all of us made him so happy and he stopped feeling left out in the world around him. As for all of us, we were happy too!

Because I was the one that suggested him playing, he considered me his very first friend; for he had never had a friend before.
