No Global Grease for Obama's Palm

Obama met similar large protests in India with banners showing him with a left sided, black eye patch that had a scull and crossbones on it; along with the Hindu representation of a funeral.


As Obama has went on this finance finding trip, so far it has been a case of we do unto the US what you have done to these countries for many years; such as one comment towards sweat shop labor that had created excessive poverty in such countries as India. What Obama did come away with was an empty hand.

Obama speaks of attempting to make better relations within the Islamic world, with also the US foreign policy towards there Occupation of Israel and it is yet a reminder of just yesterday, of Muslims and Jews being faced with in the US of discriminatory insults. Such as the case of visiting a US public building that appeared more as an Nazi armed camp of the 1930's-40's, then the 21 century.


 Myself, with the high armed security was forced to go through a metal detector with my arms over my head guessing due to the wearing of jewelery, prior to already being shook down of my purse and other affects.


Inside of the office that I went to, was yet another armed guard which Muslims and Jews were singled out and had to face discrimination and insults to there religion. Anything that was of visible religious identification had to be removed under orders, whether one was a woman or a man, Jewish or Muslim; such as any form of head covering. One did not speak much do to the armed guard just a few steps where this was occurring, with the thought that one could be shot at any given moment.

As to the focus of Obama's trip further into Asia, it appears the trip will be much similar to what he has already faced, with a solemn worker hurriedly taking down a US flag barely before US Presidential Air Force One has cleared the tarmac.

As for better US relations with Muslims and Jews it appears to have deteriorated beyond recognition, as the US continues there many wars and discriminatory acts across from Israel to every corner of the globe.-HRM Deborah
