Israel: Women's Islamic Clothing

by HRM Deborah

When Muhammad (PBUH) originally spoke concerning the nijab, the burqa and women wearing gloves in public, he actually spoke against this foreign practice because this type of wear is actually contrary to the original teachings in accordance to Islam.

While there is many school’s of thought on this issue, the original law was that these three forms of attire was not just unacceptable but not necessary; especially if one does follow the law of lowering ones gaze and also has nothing to do of making one more pious nor is one that follows this concept known as a “Conservative,” for there is no such ideology or word in Islam and this also includes some of the other erroneous words that have been floating about in these latter years, such as the term "Fundamentalism" or being a "Fundamentalist;" which is also not apart of Islamic terminology or ideology, but terms originally coined by Western Islamophobic’s.

While the nijab and burqa especially, is actually a health hazard in countries where the weather get’s exceptionally hot and obstructs breathing nor has it ever been prescribed in Israel of this practice of wearing a nijab, gloves or burqa in public.

Retro Grunge: One should never appear in public looking like this or even somewhat close!
At one time, this form of attire would be called, illicit advertising and was never to be found among those that believe in Allah (Hashem).

What actually has always been originally prescribed is modest clothing by the original teaching’s of Islamic Law, which does include the wearing of a proper non-see through hijab or made of non-see through fabric and women’s non-see through or non-tight clothing (loose fitting) which covers the whole body including the arms and reaches as close to the ankles as possible and certainly no blouses or dresses cut-so-low that one can see the Valley of the Kings, without traveling to Egypt.

Also, a woman should never wear clothing designated for a man or in similar style, such as men’s style jeans or slacks; any more then a man should wear clothing that is designated for a woman or similar style for this is simply haram (sin).

A pillar of salt on Jebel Usdum (Hill of Sodom) known as "Lot‘s Wife," this mountain of salt is on the Western shore of the Dead Sea. For Lot’s wife neither obeyed Allah (Hashem) nor her husband as an unbeliever: Allah (Hashem) said, “Enter the Fire along with those who enter!”

The sun rose upon the earth and Lot arrived at Zoar. Now Allah (Hashem) had caused sulfur and fire to rain upon Sodom and Gomorrah from Allah (Hashem), out of heaven. He overturned these cities and the entire plain, with all the inhabitants of the cities and the vegetation of the soil. His wife (Lot’s) peered behind him and she became a pillar of salt. - Genesis 19:23

While the idea of being Transgender or other means associated with this type of behavior is acceptable in epidemic proportions among the Polytheist (which should also be taken into consideration of the unclean epidemic rise of Prostitution which is punishable by other means nor should the pious marry them) in the West; nevertheless, this type of behavior is considered highly unacceptable in Islam for this is not just a major sin, but Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) cursed those who would wear the opposite genders clothing and such as by Allah (Hashem) were not just considered cursed in this life, but in the hereafter and it did not make a difference if one would wear something small such as a man or women's silver ring or a full wardrobe of the opposite of their gender. While this behavior was considered found in Sodom and Gomorrah and the three other cities [Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar*; which only four cities make-up the floor of the Dead Sea after Allah (Hashem) destroyed them; for because of Lot's pleading for a place to go, Zoar (Genesis 19:18-22) was spared even though Lot and the rest of his family lived in a cave upon the mountain and not apart of the city proper; for Lot was afraid to remain in Zoar] with their other immoralities, it shall not be found among us.

For those who do follow the Islamic religion, let’s do what is in accordance to what was originally intended; as spoken by Muhammad (PBUH) and everyone will be much more happy in doing so. As to those who dress in accordance to Islamic law and follow the true teachings of Islam are known as “Traditional” and nothing else. In all due respect, the terms Sunni and Shia doesn't apply under this context.

But as to those that have been classifying themselves as“Moderate,” they are not considered Muslim for they are not in accordance to Islam or Islamic law nor has this ever been an acceptable ideology or word in Islam.

Nevertheless, any woman that does dress more modestly is not only given very great respect in most societies; but she is also less likely to be exposed to the majority of the many unsavory crimes that can occur towards them and what is just as important is Allah (Hashem) approves.

As to women’s demeanor in society especially with some of the uncouth haram (sinful) influences that has infiltrated into our modern society from the West, that a woman should return to that which had made them so beautiful for centuries; which includes such practices as grace, poise and etiquette, to be the ultimate in femininity that we as women was so graciously once endowed as a gift from Allah (Hashem); which is like the beauty one would see in a delicate tea rose.

*Zoar: Because of Zoar’s immoralities, the city eventually imploded, became ruins and disappeared.
