A Pilgrimage to the Patriarchs

Thousands of Jews arrived in the city of Hebron to visit the holy sites on the eve of the last holy month according to the Jewish calendar; which Rosh Hashanah (The Jewish New Year) begins at sundown (erev) 18 September.


For Abraham himself, is the father of the two religions of Judaism (Isaac) and Islam (Ishmael or in Arabic, Ismail) due two his two sons; As well as a paternal relationship of the monarchy.

Rosh Hashanah

While this is the Jewish New Year and is also the anniversary of the Creation of the World; this particular day is also known as the Day of Judgment and the start of the ten days of Repentance, a period of self-examination, atonement and self-renewal; which further includes the sounding of the Shofar as a reminder of Hashem‘s sovereignty (Monotheism).
