Arab Israeli women protest showing photographs of their murdered children by the US, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January 2010; in the Judean city of Ramallah and the protest keeps growing in unprecedented size.
Whether one is Jewish or Muslim International Holocaust Remembrance Day weighs heavy upon the heart; for it has been said, not one family has escaped from loosing family members having been murdered in this atrocity and what makes it worse is it is continuing to occur, such as the recent US terrorist murders in Lebanon and Iraq which shall not be forgotten anytime soon; but go down in the annuls of others that have followed them.
The US and Germany where allies during what became known as Hitler's "Final Solution;" while the ideology of Nazism has not diminished but continues on with its atrocities with the Nazi eagle still being seen on the march in the US with the continuation of the Holocaust and unbeknown to some, the US Anti-Semantic/ Islamophobic stance began long before the 1930’s and 1940’s.
The death toll is so massive, that it is at times hard for the human brain to conceive or the horror of not just what occurred at Auschwitz, but all the places that these horrifying debaucheries towards humanity has and keeps on plaguing all of us, as one takes into their thoughts for a moment of those such as in Guantanamo Bay Concentration Camp, the many families being held illegally across the US in jails; with women having had babies in these places, too the many other Political Hostages that is sometimes by the US hidden from view which have been held against their will for an extensive amount of time and many being murdered most unbearably or die in their incarceration. Nor shall it be forgotten, what is occurring in countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, or Iraq; too the many other countries that is suffering under this dark ominous skull and cross bones wind.
But as we stand here today, with some having anger on their lips, unrelenting grief-stricken tears in their eye’s or mentally and physically battered; too those fighting for there freedom against this inhuman atrocity of the Holocaust; one thing that has never changed in our conciseness is that one day that ominous wind will dissolve as those that have marched with horse chariot and sword in centuries past.-HRM Deborah

Arab Israeli’s attend the opening of a museum at the ancient Basha’s Palace in Gaza City on 27 January 2010. The Basha’s Palace stands out as a building of historic value in the center of Gaza City. The Emperor Napoleon considered it the most suitable place to stay with his entourage during three nights spent in the ancient city in the middle of his military campaign in Egypt and Syria in February 1799. Following a project implemented by UNDP and funded by a 50,000 EU donation from the German Government the restoration and rehabilitation of this old building could be done. The museum does not only tell the history of the building, but addresses other periods of history and display exhibits from the Department of Antiquities collection and Holocaust memorabilia. The museum has now become a beautiful place for hosting cultural and educational activities for the local community and visitors alike.
Visitors gather inside the Hall of Names at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem on 27 January 2010 during International Holocaust Remembrance Day; which Yad Vashem is having a very heavy turnout today. Sirens wailed at the former Nazi German Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp as ceremonies began to mark the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the symbol of Nazi German genocide. Auschwitz survivors, Soviet veterans and leaders including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gathered for this emotionally-charged memorial event. Countless countries around the globe are also have ceremonies and other events not just in remembrance of the Holocaust, but in honor of the many contributions Jews and Muslims have made down through history throughout the globe, with many ceremonies beginning as of yesterday.
